Shoppers swipe decorative roses from escalator in a Chinese mall

Filmed on May 20, a date with the Chinese pronunciation of "I love you", the video shows a shopping mall that previously decorated roses on an elevator to create a romantic atmosphere witnessed an unexpected frenzy as shoppers swiftly snatched away the decorative roses from the display. The rose-filled display, known as the "Glacier Rose Waterfall," was set up by the mall to create a festive atmosphere for the 520 holiday, allowing customers to capture memorable photos. A mall staff member expressed frustration at the behaviour of customers but emphasized that as long as the customers are happy, it's what matters most. The video was filmed on May 20 in Beilun, southern China and provided with local media’s permission.
