Shoreditch stabbing: Shocking moment man attacked with knife after fight breaks out in east London high street

This is the shocking moment a man was attacked with a knife after a fight broke out in a busy east London high street.

Video footage shows a person armed with a large blade launching an attack on a man who has fallen to the ground outside Browns Strip Club, just off Shoreditch High Street.

Other people are heard screaming as the attacker then flees the scene.

Police said three teenage boys were arrested in connection with a stabbing in the early hours of Sunday.

Officers were called at 2.13am and found two teenage males with stab injuries. They were taken by paramedics to an east London hospital.

Scotland Yard said their injuries are not life-threatening.

A spokesman added: “Three teenage boys were arrested on suspicion of offences including affray and causing grievous bodily harm. They have been bailed to return on a date in late January.”

Detective Sergeant Dave Barrett who is investigating, added: “We have seen the video of the incident circulating on social media and this is forming part of our enquiries.

“I am urging anyone with information on this incident to call us and tell us what they know.

“I also am requesting anyone who has other videos of the incident, or the moments surrounding the incident, to contact us and share them. This could really assist the investigation and we will treat your information with sensitivity.”
