Shots fired at Birmingham house as police release new details

An investigation is underway after shots were fired at a property in Birmingham. West Midlands Police were called to an address on Third Avenue, Bordesley Green at 4.20am on January 13.

Nobody was said to have been injured but damage was caused to the front living room window and door. The offenders fled in a black estate style car.

Anyone who has information about the incident is asked to contact police as they try to piece together what happened.

A spokeswoman for West Midlands Police said: "We were called after reports of shots being fired at an address on Third Avenue, Birmingham at around 4.20am on 13 January. Damage was caused to the front door window and living room window.

"Thankfully no one was injured. It is believed the offenders were in a black estate-style car.
