Rupert Grint stars as a man who fakes cancer and eventually tries to get away with murder in new comedy Sick Note, which sees him appear alongside Nick Frost.

Daniel Glass (Grint) isn't having the best day as Sky One's new show starts out. First off, he's lost his job, then his girlfriend dumps him – despite the fact they're only halfway through season 5 of Game of Thrones.

But things soon turn around following his wrongful cancer diagnosis courtesy of Dr Ianin Glennis (Frost). People are treating Daniel better than ever – so should he keep up the lie?

The answer is obviously no. Get some better friends, a better job and a girlfriend who isn't pity-dating you, but that doesn't make for much of a comedy concept, does it?

Soon someone points out that Daniel could probably get away with murder considering how nicely everyone is treating him. Then BANG, there's a murder.

Cue lots of inappropriate comedy japers and Rupert Grint looking just as sickly as when Ron's wand backfired and had him vomiting slugs.

Speaking about Sick Note last year, Zai Bennett, Director of Sky Atlantic said: "We're delighted to welcome the stellar cast of Rupert Grint, Nick Frost and Don Johnson to Sky Atlantic in this smart new original comedy.

'They join a high end stable of US hits like Veep and Silicon Valley alongside great original comedy from the likes of Julia Davis and Steve Coogan."

Elsewhere in the world of Rupert Grint, he told us about his illegal habit from school and posed as his (sort of) celebrity doppleganger Ed Sheeran.

Sick Note is coming to Sky One and NOW TV in November 2017.
