The vicious assault has left a 43-year-old man in hospital, where he remains in a serious condition.
The footage, which has been shared widely after being posted on Snapchat, shows four men and a woman on the pavement outside an Iceland branch
The clip starts with a man wearing a blue hoody, with his hood up, repeatedly kicking a man in the head as he lies on the ground near a doorway.
A woman then tries to intervene by waving the hooded attacker away, but he aims a slap at her head, causing her to have to dodge the blow.
At the same time two men wearing baseball caps are involved in a fight. A man in a light coloured cap aims blows at the other, who falls back into a parked car.
He then grabs the man by the neck and repeatedly headbutts him, causing his own cap to fall off. The pair fall to the ground with the victim's head smashing into the cobbles, leaving him lying motionless on the concrete.
The second attacker then bends down to pick up his cap, as the hooded man runs up and kicks the second victim on the side of the head as he lies on the ground.
