Sicko told young 'girl' he'd make her 'sex expert' and would pee on her
A paedophile who wanted to meet up with a child to have sex and told her they could urinate on each other was caught out by an undercover police officer.
Andrew Tonkin, 39, asked what he thought was a schoolgirl to carry out a sex act on herself using a pencil and told her he'd make her a "sex expert" during disturbing messages. He messaged her over several weeks and later found out he'd been talking to a police officer.
Tonkin, of Forth Scol in Illogan, near Redruth, appeared at Truro Crown Court on Friday (October 25), for sentencing having pleaded guilty to one count of attempt to engage in sexual communication with a child and one of attempt to cause or incite a girl under 13 to engage in sexual activity.
The court heard how on January 16 of this year an undercover officer in Yorkshire pretended to be a girl called Layla and received a Snapchat friend request from Tonkin. Over four weeks they exchanged communications that became "increasingly sexualised".
Tonkin had also sent photos of his erect penis and expressed a desire to have sex with the child. On one occasion he told 'Layla' he was 26 years old and lived in Cornwall.

The officer made it very clear that 'Layla' was 12 years old and from Yorkshire. The defendant even went as far as to say he would visit her once he could save enough money to do so.
Among the disturbing messages, he requested photos of 'Layla' in her underwear and sought reassurance that nobody else could view their conversation. He said he wanted to cuddle and kiss her and have a "secret relationship".
On January 26 he sent a nude photograph of himself. He also expressed a desire to have sex, marry and have a baby with 'Layla' once she turned 16.
On February 5 he sent another photograph of himself and a further photo of his penis on February 8. He then suggested they meet in a Travelodge or Premier Inn.
He told 'Layla' his sexual experience would be "good for her" and that he would turn her into a "sex expert". He also told her they could urinate on each other in the shower and told her he wouldn't get her pregnant.
By February 12 he was encouraging her to perform a sex act on herself with a pencil or her fingers. Two days later he wished her a happy Valentine's Day and made no further attempts to arrange a meeting.
He was arrested on March 5 at his home address in Illogan. He claimed at a police interview that he didn't know her age which was not the case. He said he "didn't know where his mind took him" and claimed it was "nothing sexual" and he didn't know why he did it.
He said his plans to meet with her were "all fantasy" and he would never have gone. He also told police he was sexually attracted to adults, not children.
In his sentencing remarks, His Honour Judge Simon Carr said Tonkin pleaded guilty at the earliest opportunity but that he clearly had a sexual interest in children, also shown by previous convictions. He was sentenced to two and a half years imprisonment and will be on the sex offender's register for life.
