Newcastle United are set for a massive season under Eddie Howe as they look to bounce straight back from missing out on Europe last term.

Newcastle may not have pulled off any major signings this summer but still have Lloyd Kelly on board, William Osula and Lewis Hall who joined on a permanent deal. Odysseas Vlachodimos and John Ruddy have joined too and may have a part to play.

It's been some ride in the last few months with a trip to Australia in May for post-season and the pre-season jaunt to Japan. And we've been there every kick of the way.

As we start a whole new era at St. James' Park this is your opportunity to get up close and personal during what is the first chapter of the 'new' Newcastle United. If you are a follower of me on Twitter or Facebook, you will know all about the type of coverage I aim to provide, right across the board from player ratings and match reports, to transfer gossip and exclusive interviews.

The newsletter allows me to take you even closer to what goes on behind the scenes at the club, and gives subscribers the story behind the story as well as talking to as many of the cast of characters at St James' Park as possible. After Eddie Howe's Press conferences I analyse all the key points and there will be insight and tales from the past as I interview ex-players and managers and revisit famous chapters of the club's long and storied history.

Player ratings is always a bit talking point! Not a week goes by when fans down the local find themselves disagreeing on marks out of 10 or selection issues. But we'll be able to take a closer look at matters and discuss why some players rated more highly than others.

There's never been a better time to sign up for my exclusive newsletter and get behind the stories that matter most. You won't be able to read this anywhere else, and you'll get all the news and gossip in your inbox first.
