'Significant Development' In Becky Watts Search

Police say there has been a "significant development" in the search for missing Bristol 16-year-old Becky Watts.

The announcement by Avon and Somerset Police comes as a huge search for the missing teenager continues.

Becky was last seen at her home in Crown Hill, in the St George area, on 19 February.

Two people - a 28-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman - were arrested yesterday on suspicion of murdering her.

They had previously been arrested on suspicion of her kidnap.

Detectives have been carrying out a detailed search of the area around Becky's home in the St George area of the city.

Forensic teams have been searching three houses - in the Southmead and Barton Hill areas and the family home in St George - as well as locations within a 1.3-mile radius of her home.

Becky was last seen at her home in Crown Hill, in the St George area, on 19 February.

Searches for her have been under way since she was reported missing by her family at 4pm on 20 February.
