'Significant Flooding' Turns San Antonio Street Into River

The National Weather Service (NWS) said heavy rain triggered “significant” flooding in parts of San Antonio, Texas, on Tuesday, September 3.

Footage captured by local business Nowhere Bookshop shows conditions in the street outside the premises on Tuesday morning.

“We’ve been in this location for over five years and never seen it like that,” the Nowhere Bookshop’s owner told Storyful.

Local media reported multiple water rescues and road closures across the city.
