It's a Sin has confirmed its US release date on HBO Max.
The series was written by former Doctor Who showrunner Russell T Davies and follows the experiences of a group of gay friends living in London amid the AIDs epidemic in the '80s.
Starring Olly Alexander, Stephen Fry and Neil Patrick Harris, It's a Sin premiered on Channel 4 in the UK on Friday (January 22) to a glowing reception — with all five episodes now available to stream on All 4.
On Monday (January 25), Davies finally confirmed a release date for the show across the pond. Posting to Instagram, the writer revealed It's a Sin will hit premium subscription service HBO Max on Thursday, February 18.
Good Omens showrunner and author Neil Gaiman replied: "If I can't persuade iPlayer to let me watch from here, I will wait and try and persuade HBO Max."
It also follows him emphasising the importance of casting gay actors in gay roles and revealing his hopes that the show created "a safe space" for the actors.
"For my one programme, for these five hours, I wanted to create a safe space where gay actors could voluntarily come in and be themselves," he said.
"I think it's created a genuine vibe, for want of a better word. I think there's an energy that rises off the screen and a truth, and I'm very, very happy with the end result."
It's A Sin is available to stream now on All 4.
