Single and Ready To Mingle: Hugo the Tortoise Has Real Sex Appeal in Steamy Shower Video

It was designed to cool him down, but hard-shelled bachelor Hugo the tortoise was steamier than ever while taking a cold shower to beat the heat at the Australian Reptile Park in Somersby, New South Wales.

In this slow-motion video, shared by the park on January 18, the 68-year-old Galapagos tortoise relished a hose-down as the country experienced a heatwave.

The cheeky footage was shared by the zoo to get the word out that Hugo is on the prowl for a mate.

The zoo’s head of reptiles, Daniel Rumsey said: “We are legitimately looking for the perfect mate for Hugo. We see the slow-mo showering shots work for the real bachelors on TV, so why not give Hugo a go?”
