ITV2's new dating show Singletown came to the end of its first series tonight (September 20), confirming the fate of five potential couples.
Friday's finale saw the contestants take part in their last ever Love Locket Ceremony, held by hosts Joel Dommett and Emily Atack, where the singletons decided whether to reconcile with their exes or leave the show single by revealing either a heart locket or an empty box.
First up to make their life-changing decision was Ella and Kyra. With Kyra having previously gone on a second date with Huw, doubts remained over the future of the girls' relationship. However, the two of them both revealed a heart locket to each other and expressed their desire to spend the rest of their lives together.
It wasn't such a happy ending for Nat and Meg, however, who mutually decided it was time to move on as they struggled to heal the wounds of previous mistakes. They both showed an empty box to each other and left the show single.
Elsewhere, Jeremiah and Selin claimed they were finally ready to commit to each other as they both revealed a heart locket. Selin wasn't sure if Jeremiah was capable of changing, but he seemed to have curbed his flirty behaviour with other girls.
There was also happy news for Claudia and Rob who, after having some time to experience single life, realised they were right for each other after all.
Meanwhile, Sophie was forced to attend the Love Locket Ceremony on her own, with her ex George deciding to leave the show early after growing frustrated with her refusal to commit.
But three out of five saved relationships isn't bad, is it?
