It's official: Darksiders 3 is finally coming to consoles in 2018. Not only that, but there's a brand new trailer out, too – and it proves that hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. Literally.
The trailer introduces Fury, a mage and sister of the Four Horsemen, as she accepts her quest to defeat "the enemies of existence itself", the Seven Deadly Sins.

The series was cast into doubt following publisher THQ's earlier collapse, but now the five-year wait for a third instalment is almost over, as THQ Nordic and Gunfire Games have confirmed that Darksiders 3 will be out next year.
THQ Nordic's CEO Lars Wingefors said (via IGN): "After countless rumours, a major catalogue acquisition, and even a corporate re-brand, the team at THQ Nordic is thrilled to finally confirm plans for Darksiders III."
The game, which will be set around the same time as its predecessor, will reportedly be available to buy for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
The re-release of Darksiders 2: Deathinitive Edition two years ago was always intended to "reactivate" interest in the franchise from the gaming community.
Of its enhanced version of the original 2012 game, Nordic said: "Since we acquired the franchise we were looking for options for doing a DS3.
"The remaster was just a way to get some spotlight on the franchise again, reactivate the community and have a better starting position for DS3."
