Six players to miss Wolves vs Liverpool with one major doubt as Arne Slot advantage clear
Liverpool return to Premier League activity on Saturday evening with a trip to Wolves (5.30pm). Arne Slot's team have responded well to their shock 2-1 defeat at home to Nottingham Forest earlier this month.
The Reds have comfortably won their last three matches with victories against AC Milan, Bournemouth and West Ham. They take on a Wolves team this weekend who are yet to win a game this season and have lost four of their opening five matches - putting the Midlands outfit under some pressure.
And in a boost to Slot's team, Brazil goalkeeper Alisson Becker looks set to return from injury against Gary O'Neil's team. "We think he is [ok to return,] We think he is available," Slot said in Friday's pre-match press conference.

"We're really happy with Alisson being back but we did well in the two games without him so another example of me having two or even three options in some positions."
The only Liverpool player set to miss Saturday's game is Harvey Elliott, who is out with an ankle injury. The forward could, potentially, return to action at the end of October according to Premier Injuries.
Wolves meanwhile have a lengthy list of absentees for the fixture at Molineux. Yerson Mosquera, Boubacar Traore, Bastien Meupiyou Menadjou, Enso Gonzalez Medina and Sasa Kalajdzic have all been ruled out for the hosts.
Defender Toti Gomes is also a doubt for the game. Goalkeeper Daniel Bentley should be fit, though, after being hit with an illness which has affected several Wolves players.
"There's quite a bit of illness with players that will need a check," O'Neil said during his pre-match press conference. "There's a virus going around and some players missed training today [on Friday].
“Some lads will struggle for tomorrow [on Saturday]. But it's not definite."
