Eight people were reported to have died when a light plane crashed near a metro station in Milan on Sunday, October 3.
The Corriere della Sera said the plane came down at Via Marignano, near the San Donato underground terminus shortly after 1 pm.
The plane had left Milan’s Linate airport, bound for Sardinia, the paper said. Six passengers and two crew were on board, none of whom survived. Credit: @edoardotwitta via Storyful
