Siya Kakkar, TikTok Star, Dies Aged 16

TikTok performer Siya Kakkar has died at the age of 16.

Siya – who had more than 1.1 million followers on the social media site – is reported to have died in New Delhi on Thursday.

According to Metro, her manager Arjun Sarin said that he’d spoken to the teenager the night before her death about an upcoming project.

“Me and my company Fame Experts manage lots of artists and Siya was a bright talent,” he said, adding that he was “heading to her home in Preet Vihar”.

Arjun also paid his respects on Instagram, sharing a picture of Siya along with the message: “No more words. You will always be the best artist. Rest in peace.”

Siya was best known on the short video platform for her dance videos.

The content creator also had 136,000 followers on Instagram, where she would often share her TikTok creations.
