Skegness fire investigation launched after blaze at holiday flats
An investigation is due to take place after a fire broke out at a building on the Lincolnshire coast. Four fire crews rushed to the incident in North Parade, Skegness during the early hours of Friday, October 11.
Pictures from the scene showed smoke coming from what appeared to be Coasters Holiday Apartments. The business was approached for more information but they declined to comment on the incident.
A spokesperson for the fire service said: "Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue were called out at 5am to this incident and both crews attended from Skegness along with a crew from Wainfleet, one from Alford and the aerial ladder platform from Skegness. A fire investigation is taking place today [October 11]."

One eyewitness said that fire engines were blocking the road while the fire was being extinguished. Another person said they could smell the smoke while walking their dog in Burgh le Marsh.
