Sky To Air World Premiere Of New Bowie Video

The world premiere of a short film for David Bowie's new single Blackstar - written as a star symbol - will happen on Sky channels next week.

The 10-minute video will be released to customers in the UK, Ireland, Italy, Germany and Austria at 8.45pm on 19 November.

The track was written and sung by Bowie for Sky Atlantic's new heist drama The Last Panthers which began on Thursday night.

The video was directed by the series director Johan Renck.

Zai Bennett, director of Sky Atlantic, said: "Hosting the world premiere of David Bowie's short film for Black Star on Sky channels is very exciting."

Sky customers in the UK can watch the video and hear the full track on Sky Atlantic and Sky Arts ahead of the second episode of The Last Panthers.

The programme stars Sir John Hurt, Samantha Morton and Tahar Rahim.
