Sky Cinema has just added Gerard Butler's new Christmas movie

You might be more used to seeing Gerard Butler beat up bad guys, but his new movie sees him take on the iconic role of Santa.

The Night Before Christmas in Wonderland sees Butler voice St Nick who receives a letter from the Princess of Hearts on Christmas Eve, so he sets off to Wonderland with his dedicated team of reindeer.

When he gets there though, St Nick is greeted by the Christmas-hating Queen of Hearts (Emilia Clarke) who especially hates presents. But can St Nick, with the help of Alice (Simone Ashley) show the Queen the true meaning of Christmas?

Ahead of the movie's release, Simone Ashley praised the "beautiful" message behind The Night Before Christmas in Wonderland.

"It has a really positive and profound message about what Christmas should mean to people, and that's how I feel about Christmas time. I really lean into it," she explained.

"I think the holidays can be a hard time for some people. I've definitely experienced that before, and I think just practising kindness and having good priorities is what this movie is all about."
