What to watch on Sky and NOW in September 2024 from The Penguin to Brassic

Sky and NOW users will have a lot to choose from in September, with several original titles returning and HBO's most exciting new release.
The company and its sister streaming service will feature a lot of exciting releases for every type of viewer. There will be documentaries like Alec Guinnesss: A Class Act landing on Sky Arts, and new movies like The Three Musketeers: Milady and Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom also premiering in September.
Here is everything you need to know about the highlights on Sky and NOW over the course of the month.
The Penguin | 20 September
Colin Farrell returns as one of Batman's most famous arch-nemeses following his standout role in The Batman opposite Robert Pattinson. The actor will now lead his own gritty crime drama, which explores Oz Cobb's rise to power to the top of Gotham City's criminal underworld.

The character will face several challenges of his own in the process, and while it's unclear if he'll come across the Caped Crusader himself what we do know is that the events of the TV show will set up what's to come in The Batman 2.
Funny Woman series 2 | 6 September
Starring Gemma Arterton, Funny Woman's new season finds her character Sophie on a high. As one of the rising stars of the British TV comedy scene there seems to be nowhere else to go but up, however trouble is always lurking around the corner. Sophie may be on a high but can she stay up there? Viewers will have to tune in to find out.
Brassic series 6 | TBC
The jewel in Sky's crown is back. That's right: Brassic is returning for its sixth season on the service. Michelle Keegan, Joe Gilgun and more step back into their beloved character's shoes for another rowdy adventure that includes a speeding hearse, a crocodile, guns, swords and a life drawing class. What's not to love?
Ross Kemp: The Mafia and Britain | 10 September
Ross Kemp steps in front of the camera for another fascinating documentary about the mafia and its role in the UK. The actor and presenter embarks on a global journey for the show, tracing the illegal drugs trade through history to reveal the truth behind the UK's historical relationship with the mob.
One Life | TBC
Anthony Hopkins plays Sir Nicholas ‘Nicky’ Winton in this poignant biopic about the man who rescued 669 predominantly Jewish children from the Nazis during World War II. Flipping between the haunted Nicky of 1988 and his younger self, the film explores the emotional toll he and others experienced.
