Sky TV customers warned channels will stop working on devices tomorrow
Sky viewers have been warned TV streaming will stop working on popular gadgets in days. Sky Go customers can access it as part of their package on number of gadgets including iPhone, Android, iPad, PlayStation, Xbox and more.
But older versions eventually lose support, they have been warned. Sky says: "To ensure we provide the best possible experience to Sky Go customers, from time to time, we stop supporting older operating system versions."
The version that is being dropped is iOS 12. The tech giant said: "To ensure that we can provide the best possible experience whilst using Sky Go, from time to time we must look at stopping support for older operating system versions.

"For Sky Go on iOS, we are removing support for iOS 12 by the 17 th September. From this date, you'll need to update to iOS 13 or above, to continue using your device. We will be updating our help articles and the app over the coming weeks."
On how to upgrade your iOS, Apple says: "Plug your device into a power source and connect to the internet with Wi-Fi. Go to Settings > General, then tap Software Update. If you see more than one software update option available, choose the one you want to install.
"Tap Install Now. If you see Download and Install instead, tap it to download the update, enter your passcode, then tap Install Now. If you don’t know your passcode, find out what to do." If a message asks to remove apps temporarily because the software needs more space for the update, tap Continue to allow apps to be removed. After the installation process has finished, those apps will be reinstalled automatically.
Your device can update automatically overnight while it's charging, the tech giant has also gone on to explain to Sky customers this week.
