'Slashing' in popular Scots park as man rushed to hospital
A man has been rushed to hospital after allegedly being slashed in a popular park. The incident is said to have taken place in Glasgow Green in the early hours of this morning.
Police Scotland officers were called to the park at around 5,30am on Sunday, November 17, 2024, following reports of a serious assault in the park, which is just yards from the city's High Court.
The 30-year-old victim was rushed to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment and detectives from Police Scotland began to investigate the incident.

Glasgow Live reports a Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 5.30am on Sunday, 17 November, 2024 we received a report of a serious assault at Glasgow Green. A 30-year-old man was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment. Enquiries are ongoing."
