Being hailed as an ideal answer to satisfy sweet cravings, their cinnamon and raisin baked oats recipe has received rave reviews.

This simple yet delightful dish is concocted from basic ingredients and can be whipped up in a jiffy either baked traditionally or microwaved in 90 seconds if you're grappling with time (or enjoyed a lie-in). Served singularly in a mug, this oaty gem invokes feelings of heavenly cake and can be made vegan-friendly or gluten-free with minor adjustments.

Cinnamon and raisin baked oats recipe (serves 1).

Ingredients

  • 40g porridge oats

  • 2 tbsp any plain yoghurt + 1 tbsp extra to serve

  • 1 egg

  • 1 tsp sweetener

  • 1/3 tsp ground cinnamon

  • 1 tbsp sultanas or raisins

Method:

  1. Put everything into a mug and mix

  2. Microwave on high for 90 seconds (or 20 minutes in the oven on 180C/ 350F/gas mark 4).

  3. Tip the cake out onto a plate, top with extra yoghurt and enjoy straight away.
