Slipknot have confirmed the dates and venues for their previously announced UK arena tour.

The veteran metal band, who recently released their sixth studio album We Are Not Your Kind, will make touring stops in eight UK cities at the beginning of 2020.

Their journey around the country will culminate with a huge headline show at the O2 in London on January 25.

Support for all the dates will come from Polish metalheads Behemoth.

It will be Slipknot’s first gig in the capital since they sold out two dates at Alexandra Palace in February 2016. Their last show in the UK was a storming headline set at Download festival in June.

The band’s most recent album, which came out earlier this month, was their first studio release since .5: The Gray Chapter in 2014.

It saw the band reach for a broader musical style, incorporating elements of ambient and electronic. You can read the Standard’s review of the album here.
