Sloviansk Hit by 'Massive Shelling' as Residents Urged to Evacuate

Residents in Sloviansk, in Ukraine’s Donetsk region, have been feeling the impact of ramped-up strikes, with the local mayor, Vadim Lyakh, saying “massive shelling” continued on July 5, after two destructive days left dozens of buildings destroyed.

Lyakh said at least six people were killed on July 3, with at least one more fatality reported on July 5.
