Slow Horses future revealed beyond season 5
Apple TV+ has officially renewed Slow Horses for a sixth season.
The BAFTA-winning spy series returned for a fourth season in September, with the finale airing on the streaming service last week (October 9).
The show was renewed for a fifth season back in January, with filming wrapping recently.
It's now been confirmed that the Slough House adventures will continue with a sixth series being greenlit by Apple TV+.

"Audiences around the world have fallen in love with the Slow Horses, and I’m delighted that Gary Oldman will be leading this star-studded cast on another acerbic and action-packed adventure," said Jay Hunt, Apple TV+'s creative director in Europe.
The sixth season will be adapted from the sixth and seventh novels in Mick Herron's 'Slough House' book series, with MI5's second chair stirring up more trouble for Jackson Lamb's (Gary Oldman) gang.
"Season six sees the Slow Horses on the run as Diana Taverner embroils them all in a fatally high-stakes game of retaliation and revenge," teases a short synopsis.

Slow Horses has received plenty of praise and awards to date, including Golden Globe, Emmy and BAFTA Award nominations for Oldman's performance as the irascible Jackson Lamb.
Lamb is a reluctant leader of a dysfunctional team of British intelligence agents who have been demoted from their MI5 posts to "dumping ground" Slough House.
However, the outcasts can't help finding themselves front and centre of the action again thanks to the smoke and mirrors of the inner espionage world.
Slow Horses also stars Jack Lowden, Saskia Reeves, Rosalind Eleazar, Christopher Chung, and Aimee-Ffion Edwards, with Sir Jonathan Pryce appearing as Lowden's on-screen grandfather, who has his own espionage background.
Actors Ruth Bradley, Tom Brooke, Joanna Scanlan and James Callis joined the show in season four and are expected to reprise their roles in the next instalment.
Slow Horses seasons 1-4 are streaming on Apple TV+.
