Small Plane Crash-Lands on Golf Course in Sacramento

A small plane made an emergency landing by crashing onto the Haggin Oaks Golf Complex in Sacramento, California, on Sunday, August 4.

Security footage from Haggin Oaks shows the plane sliding across a putting green after hitting the ground, where it almost strikes a golfer, and crashing into a building.

Fire officials said the pilot sustained minor injuries, but no one else was injured.

The golf complex, which closed its restaurant and pro shop for the rest of the day, said the damage to the facility was minor.

“We are incredibly grateful to the first responders from the fire department and law enforcement for their swift and professional reaction,” they said. Credit: Haggin Oaks Golf Complex via Storyful
