Smartphone Described As ‘iPhone Killer’ Goes On Sale For Just £239

A smartphone described as ‘the iPhone Killer’ is on sale this Friday for half the price of an iPhone 6S.

The Chinese-made OnePlus 2 is normally only available via online invittion - but is freely on sale for £239 as a four-day Black Friday offer.

The 5.5-inch handset runs a customised version of Android, but offers the same functions as Apple’s, including a hi-res screen, fingerprint sensor and powerful camera.

OnePlus is also offering its smaller OnePlus X phone (the same size as iPhone 5S) for just £169.

The OnePlus 2 handset runs Android in a customised version made by OnePlus themselves.

This adds some neat tricks such as the ability to ‘wake the phone up’ by double-tapping on the screen.

It has a Full HD 5.5-inch screen, and a 13-megapixel rear camera - more powerful than Apple’s.

Just like iPhone, the handset has a fingerprint sensor, so it can be unlocked without a password.
