Smoke Bomb Used as Diversion in Venice Robbery Attempt

A group of robbers released a smoke bomb on San Marco Square in Venice on March 17, using it as a diversion for a robbery, according to reports.

The gang were targeting the Missaglia jewelry store, according to the same report, but were chased away when they were spotted by a waiter working on the square.
