Smoke Fills Seattle Sky as Firefighters Work to Extinguish Building Fire

Firefighters worked to extinguish a building fire in Seattle, Washington, on Thursday, September 1, according to the Seattle Fire Department.

The fire department reported that the fire started in a first-floor kitchen and then spread through the building’s duct system.

Video posted by the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) on Thursday shows billowing smoke filling the air in Seattle.
