Smoke Plumes Near Chino Hills Homes as Blue Ridge Fire Burns On

The Blue Ridge Fire had burned more than 14,000 acres in Southern California’s Orange County on October 27, prompting evacuations and road closures as thousands of structures in the area were threatened.

This footage was recorded by Brook Peterson, who lives in Chino Hills, an area of San Bernardino County that borders Orange County, as she was evacuated from her home.

Thousands of people were ordered to evacuate as the fire grew on the afternoon of the 27th.
