Smoke Pours From Fire in Manhattan's East Village

Firefighters battled a two-alarm fire in the East Village neighborhood of Manhattan on Monday, January 10, a day after another blaze claimed the lives of 17 people in the Bronx.

This footage, recorded on Monday afternoon, shows smoke pouring out of a building at the corner of Avenue A and 3rd Street. According to local reports, at least 100 firefighters responded to the blaze, which the FDNY said originated in a store on the first floor.
