Smoke Rises From Recycling Facility Fire in North London

Plumes of smoke rose from a waste recycling facility on fire in Edmonton, London, on Thursday, June 13.

Footage recorded by Sheridan Flynn shows the fire from the North Circular road.

Ten fire engines and around 70 firefighters responded to a fire at a waste recycling center on Nobel Road, Edmonton, the London Fire Brigade said, starting from around 3:30 am on Thursday.

Approximately 500 tons of mixed waste was alight at the height of the fire, the brigade said.

The cause of the fire was unknown. The fire was under control by around 7 am on Thursday.
