Smokey Trotters tease west end kitchen takeover as burger favourites head for Inn Deep

One of Glasgow's most popular burger spots has teased a team up with a much-loved west end craft beer bar.

East-end street food specialists Smokey Trotters Kitchen has taken over the kitchen of Inn Deep at Kelvinbridge, with owner Robert Lorimer - or Big Smokey as he's more commonly known - taking to social media to share the news.

Posting on Instagram, Robert said: "The duo you never knew you needed!! We will be taking over the kitchen at Inn Deep from Thursday 7th November. Get Involved."

Famed for its dipping burgers, sandwiches, nuggets, wings and fries, STK recently impressed top Canadian foodie and presenter Brant Pinvidic, who named its burgers "the best in the world".

Smokey Trotters took the street food circuit by storm before taking up base at 233 London Road, where their epic offerings have seen them go viral on many an occasion.

The always-enterprising Robert continues to build on the success of the brand that found its first permanent home in the city's east end in 2021 and has grown from strength to strength since then.

Following up spots in Golf Fang Glasgow, Golf Fang Newcastle and Celtic Park Robert recently confirmed that Smokey Trotters had taken over the former Good Times Roll on Copland Road in Ibrox.
