Taylor Swift has been labelled a snake once again after it was revealed her Reputation UK and Ireland tour dates clash with Katy Perry’s.

The US pop superstar sparked a backlash online after announcing she will perform three-dates between June 8 and June 27 next year.

Perry will also be heading across the pond as part of her eight-day Witness tour from June 14 to June 25.

Although neither will be in the same city at the same time, fans were quick to hit out at Swift for the move while others were upset at having to choose between the two.

One user tweeted: “Who else guessed that @taylorswift13 would tour the UK at the same time as @katyperry. What a snake.”

Another posted: “Taylor is going on tour the same day I’m seeing Katy in Manchester... why you doing this to me.”

A third wrote: “I have Manchester Katy Perry tickets for the same night Taylor Swift is playing London and honestly it's like Sophie's Choice. WHAT DO I DO?”

Swift will play Manchester’s Etihad Stadium and Croke Park in Dublin before wrapping up at London’s Wembley Stadium.

Perry will play shows in London, Birmingham, Sheffield, Liverpool, Manchester and Glasgow.

The singers have been embroiled in a public feud which is said to have started when three of Perry's California Dreams world tour dancers received a place on Swift's 2012 world tour.

Swift then appeared to address the animosity when she revealed that her single, Bad Blood, was about a feud with a famous artist. Perry then fuelled rumours that she was the artist in question when she tweeted: “Watch out for the Regina George in sheep's clothing...”

Earlier this year Swift put her back catalogue back on Spotify on the same day that Perry dropped her new music.

Tickets for Reputation go on general sale on Friday, December 1. They can be bought here.
