Yahoo News Snapchat video 'shows final moments of woman' before fatal crash
Police are investigating a video appearing to show a young woman moments before she was killed in a head=on collision.
Shania McNeill, 21, was behind the wheel of a Suzuki Baleno driving along Richmond Road in Sydney on Sunday at about 1.15am when she was involved in a head-on crash with a Nissan Micra.
A passer-by tried to save Ms McNeill before paramedics arrived, but she died at the scene.
Three other people were hospitalised in a stable condition following the crash.
In a Snapchat video obtained by Australia’s The Daily Telegraph, a woman who appears to be Ms McNeill is seen behind the wheel of a car.
She faces the camera as a passenger screams, “Shania”, before she turns her attention back to the road.
The video was shot moments before she died, according to the paper.
The day after Ms McNeill’s death, two of her friends shared selfies to Snapchat from their hospital beds.

Hazel Wildman and Faeda Hunter are seen bloodied and bruised wearing neckbraces.
Ms McNeill’s housemate Rachel Macefield told the outlet she’d seen the footage but doesn’t believe her friend was driving recklessly.
“I know for a fact she would not have just let this happen,” she said.
A NSW Police spokeswoman told Yahoo News police are now using the video as one of their lines of enquiry.
Inspector Phil Brooks told Fairfax on Monday the Suzuki Ms McNeill was in was “driving in an erratic manner”.
