Snaps showcasing Rickmansworth from above in the 1990s
The skyline of Rickmansworth has remained largely unaltered since the end of the last century but you will spot some differences if you take a closer look at these pictures.
A Watford Observer photographer was able to get onto the roof of a new building in Homestead Road in October 1990 to capture some views across the town.
While well-known landmarks like Rickmansworth Station appear much like they did 33 years ago, other buildings such as Long Island have disappeared to make way for housing.
