The snooker champ has expressed a keen desire to enter the Borehamwood abode in January and could be joining the likes of Katie Price, Katie Hopkins and Bianca Gascoigne if Channel 5 bosses grant his wish.

Speaking to the Daily Star, 40-year-old Ronnie – who lives near the studios where the show is filmed – said: “I’ve always fancied Big Brother.

“I know that if I’d had enough I could just come out and be back home in 45 minutes.”

The five-time world snooker champion could be walking into a special Gold Stars vs All Stars edition of the show, which will see famous ex-Big Brother housemates mix with fresh faces.

Perez Hilton, Jasmine Lennard (from 10th series), Stephen Bear and Lee Ryan are also rumoured to be signing up.

And Ronnie – who has previously admitted to dabbling in narcotics and drinking too much – thinks he’d pass any pre-entry requirements with flying colours.

He said: “I’d nail all the psychology tests. I know all the right answers for them. I’ve seen so many of them, I know exactly what to say.

“I’d love to do it. If the bosses are listening, I’m your guy.”

We think straight talking, no nonsene Ronnie is the perfect candidate.
