Snoop Dogg finally received a star on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame, and while the rapper gave the customary congratulations to his many collaborators at the ceremony, there was more than enough time to thank the most important person in his life – himself.

Snoop first thanked those in attendance – including wife Shante Broadus, producers Dr Dre and Quincy Jones, fellow rapper DJ Warren G, and late-night host Jimmy Kimmel – before moving onto the star attraction.

“Last but not least, I want to thank me for believing in me,” he said, according to People.

“I want to thank me for doing all this hard work, I want to thank me for having no days off, I want to thank me for never quitting, I want to thank me for always being a giver and trying to give more than I receive.

“I want to thank me for trying to do more rights than wrong, I want to thank me for just being me at all times. Snoop Dogg, you a bad motherf***er.”

Also in attendance at the ceremony was producer Pharrell Williams and Snoop’s family, including his wife, 19-year-old daughter Cori Broadus, and 20-year-old son Julian Corrie Broadus.

Snoop recently made headlines for saying ”f*** the president” while smoking a blunt outside the White House.
