Snoqualmie Falls Roars After 24 Hours of Heavy Rain

The Snoqualmie Falls in Washington were surging on Saturday, December 21 after heavy rain from a storm during the week caused water levels in the Snoqualmie River to rise and overflow.

This footage shows the waterfall roaring.

According to local media, an estimated seven inches of rain fell on the Snoqualmie Valley in a 24 hour period from Thursday, December 19, to Friday, December 20, and nearly a dozen roads were closed due to the resulting flooding. Credit: Craig Craker via Storyful
