Bands of snow brought heavy falls to Colorado’s northeast on Wednesday, January 11, prompting the National Weather Service (NWS) to warn of slick roads.

Footage by Twitter user @DawgWx shows heavy snowfall in Brush, some two hours’s drive northeast of Denver.

The NWS said snow would continue to fall on the plains east of Denver throughout the early evening on Wednesday, adding that residents could expect snowfall rates of up to 1 inch per hour. Credit: @DawgWx via Storyful
