Snow Blows in Northern Maine

Late-season snow fell on northern Maine on Thursday, April 28, lowering visibility and accumulating several inches in some places, the National Weather Service (NWS) said.

The NWS said it had received reports of five inches of snow accumulation from the Mars Hill area. The low pressure trend of wind and snow affecting northern parts of the state was expected to continue into the weekend, the service said.
