Snow Causes School Closures and Travel Disruption in Wales

A number of schools and roads were closed in Wales on Wednesday, March 8, local media reported, as cold weather and snow hit parts of the UK.

Footage recorded by Nathan A Hughes shows snow falling in Wrexham in the north of Wales early on Wednesday morning.

A large number of schools were closed in the south of Wales on Wednesday, especially in Rhondda Cynon Taf county, local media reported.

Several roads were also closed due to snow.
