Snow fell on farms across the New South Wales Southern Tablelands on September 17, bringing welcome relief to properties in the grips of a record drought.

Jayden Hackett, from Brayton, New South Wales, said his water tank was empty and while the snow was not rain, it did provide “a bit of water somewhere.”
