Heavy Snow Coats Roads Across Northern Idaho

Snow inundated roads in northern Idaho on Tuesday, February 21, as an arctic front continued to impact the region, the National Weather Service (NWS) said.

Two traffic cameras operated by the Idaho Transportation Department captured timelapse footage taken over a span of about two hours showing snow accumulating on roads around Sandpoint, in Idaho’s Bonner County, over the late morning and early afternoon. A third video shows conditions deteriorating on US-95 near Athol, about 20 miles south of Sandpoint.
