A winter storm system brought strong winds and mixed precipitation to Washington on Sunday, January 16.
The National Weather Service (NWS) issued a winter weather advisory for the area until 1.00 am on Monday and forecast up to six inches of snow accumulation. Wind gust speeds could reach up to 45 MPH, the NWS said.
