Yahoo News Snowfall Blankets Tahoe Basin
The National Weather Service (NWS) said on November 2 that up to eight inches (20 cm) of snow fell in the Tahoe Basin region of California, near Nevada.
Video posted by B&B Rinconcito Lake Tahoe on Wednesday shows snow clinging to trees in Tahoe Donner.
A cold front moved into the area on Tuesday, causing snow-covered roadways in western Nevada and northeast California, according to the NWS.
The California Department of Transportation warned drivers to slow down as the snow impacts travel.
