Snowfall Creates Scenic Drive Through French Alps

France’s national meteorological service issued an orange weather warning for the mountainous southeast region of Haute-Savoie following heavy snowfall on January 12.

Local media reported that snow caused major traffic problems on highways, with authorities warning drivers to limit travel and take extra care on the roads.
