At least seven inches of snow fell in the Italian city of Milan on Monday, December 28, causing widespread travel disruption, city officials said.
City workers were out in the early hours of Monday morning in an effort to clear roads and access to subway stations, hospitals, and public offices, while parks were closed after the snow caused tree branches to collapse, according to officials.
