Social Distancing Observed as Long Line Forms Outside New Jersey Costco

A long line formed outside a Costco wholesale club in Teterboro, New Jersey, on May 20, with many customers wearing masks and practicing social distancing as they waited to be admitted to the store.

New Jersey announced a phased plan easing businesses into “new normal” operations and said the state is currently in Stage 1.

According to the plan – which has no dates set – Stage 3 would still limit mass gatherings, though it was unclear if retail establishments would be able to open doors without limiting customers.
